Tomás Hnos. A team of highly qualified professionals to provide comprehensive solutions for your business.

We were founded as a family business more than 120 years ago… Today we recognize ourselves as leaders in multi-service agricultural products, with comprehensive and customized solutions for every stage of the agricultural cycle.
A century-old company with national capital
We were founded in the late 1880s, when Saturnino Llorente established the “Llorente Hermanos” General Store in Pueblo Maya (today Carlos Casares). In 1902, Manuel Tomás joined the Llorente House, and in 1921, Aurelio and Álvaro Tomás joined the company. In the 1940s, the firm became Llorente, Tomás y Cia. SRL., and in 1946, the Llorente family withdrew from the company, which was renamed Tomás Hnos y Cia SRL. It wasn’t until 1960 that the company changed its name to Tomás Hnos. y Cia. SA.

Innovation
In the 1980s, Carlos Borla—current president—joined the company for a six-month contract due to a specific request. He quickly discovered the company’s enormous potential and implemented a series of structural changes that continue to this day.

Leadership
With the arrival of the new millennium, the company decided to reposition itself within the sector. In Carlos Borla’s words: “We seek to transform ourselves based on our own history, the history of more than 120 years of trust and direct relationships with our clients. Today, our goal is to design comprehensive and personalized strategies so they can improve their businesses through our multi-service solutions.”
