Tanoni Hnos. S.A. has a history of family commitment that has been strengthened from generation to generation. The Tanoni family arrived from Italy at the beginning of the last century, with the desire for progress that characterized the immigrants who arrived in our country during those years.

The production levels and advanced technology of all processes have made Tanoni Hnos. S.A. one of the most important vegetable oil refineries in the country. Soybean and sunflower oils are processed and packaged at its facilities, with strict quality controls, although corn, canola, and other oils can also be processed.

The industrial plant is located in the town of Bombal, in the province of Santa Fe, in the center of the Humid Pampas. This region is one of the most suitable for grain production and storage, due to its strategic location from a communications and transportation perspective, as it is close to the country’s major consumption centers and main export ports.

The production area of the plant comprises approximately 1,550 m2 of covered space. The warehouse area covers 3,000 m2, and the loading and unloading area for finished products and inputs is 800 m2, both fully covered.

Tanoni Hnos. S.A. oils are made with the finest raw materials, using a high-tech industrial process that extracts all the virtues of nature’s elements. This plant has a milling capacity of 500 tons per day, from which, in addition to crude oil, the oil is obtained, along with soybean meal, rich in protein and lecithin.

Once the crude oil is received, it undergoes neutralization, washing, and drying. It is then thoroughly and carefully deodorized, and finally, it is filtered and nitrogenated, which protects it from oxidation, the main cause of aging.

The result is a product of excellent quality and a smooth, rich flavor, preserving most of its natural components.
The facilities also enable production according to third-party standards. Over the years, the company has produced products for the largest brands in Argentina and abroad.

The entire production is packaged within the industrial plant. For this purpose, there are two bottling lines:

One is dedicated to the production of 3- and 5-liter drums, with a capacity of 1,400 drums per hour. The other is a Dutch-made Stork line with a capacity of 10,000 bottles per hour. The line is fully automatic, packaging while operators supervise, without intervening in the handling of the oil, allowing for quick and safe bottling.

The bottles are sealed with a tamper-evident cap, which preserves the aroma and flavor of the products and ensures that no unnecessary risks are incurred when handling the containers.

Finally, both lines are routed to a robot that automatically palletizes the different products as they arrive, according to a program. The packaging room is built to meet hygiene standards for handling food products. It is pressurized (P = 3 mm H2O), with air curtain doors and yellow lights that do not attract insects.

At the Tanoni Hnos. S.A. plant, 150 tons of crude oil are processed per day, and 3,000 tons of the same product are stored in tanks awaiting processing.

After processing, the crude oil is transformed into edible oil, producing approximately 3,500,000 liters per month. This volume makes the industrial complex’s production one of the largest.

Of the top 1,000 companies, Tanoni Hnos. S.A. It is among the top 750.
Depending on destination, sales in recent years can be broken down into:

  1. Bulk sales: 25%
  2. Branded packaged oil sales: 75%

The evolution of packaged oil sales in recent years demonstrates the company’s dynamic growth.
