LDC<\/strong> has a long history in the marketing of Argentine agricultural products, with a presence in the country for over 120 years. Active in cotton, grains, and oilseeds, we have a fully integrated supply chain in the country’s main production areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Operations
LDC began operating in Argentina in 1897 and has grown to become one of the country’s largest companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We currently market grains, cotton, oilseeds, fertilizers, agrochemicals, and seeds, and offer financial and logistics solutions to Argentine producers, supported by an extensive network of strategically located assets and ports, as well as a highly qualified sales team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2005, we strengthened our presence in the country’s main agricultural regions to improve soybean origination for our processing plants in Santa Fe and to reach out to local farmers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We directly employ more than 1,300 people in Argentina and generate thousands more indirect jobs throughout the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Assets
Since 2004, we have invested in port infrastructure, logistics, and industrial assets, and now have a network of warehousing assets across 19 locations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

General Lagos is the second largest private port in Argentina, shipping more than five million tons of goods annually.
Timb\u00faes is one of the most modern processing plants in Argentina, processing more than four million metric tons of oilseeds annually.
Bah\u00eda Blanca is a deepwater port with a grain storage and lifting facility with a storage capacity of approximately 120,000 tons.
Our General Lagos industrial complex has a soybean processing line for the production of oil and meal, with an annual processing capacity of 2.5 million tons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It also has two production lines for processing soybean oil for biodiesel, with an annual production capacity of 600,000 tons. This makes it the largest soy-based biodiesel production plant in the world, and positions LDC as the leading national biodiesel producer and exporter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

General Lagos also has an annual production capacity of 30,000 tons of lecithin and 60,000 tons of glycerin.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
